Let me introduce myself. I am the owner of Homemade Boat Building and I also manage a Facebook Page and Group by the same name.

My name is Rodney Hughes. I am a retired master carpenter/master cabinet maker, forester, machinist, welder, small engine mechanic, diesel mechanic, and draftsman. 

I am not an expert on boat building, this website is just a compilation of my combined personal experiences and resources that I have gathered over the years.
